Formulation: The cream peroxide is typically available in various volumes, each suited for different types of applications:

10 Volume (3% Hydrogen Peroxide): Ideal for deposit-only color applications and for adding subtle tones without significant lightening.
20 Volume (6% Hydrogen Peroxide): Commonly used for standard coloring and lightening; suitable for achieving 1-2 levels of lift.
30 Volume (9% Hydrogen Peroxide): Used for more substantial lightening and lifting of 2-3 levels, often in combination with high-lift hair colors.
40 Volume (12% Hydrogen Peroxide): Typically reserved for high-lift techniques and achieving maximum lightening of 3-4 levels; should be used with caution due to the risk of damage.
